Bailey and Wyatt have gotten very good at scooting around the room on their back. In this picture Bailey has turned herself completely around and is off the mat.

If you hear Wyatt crying you better look and make sure Bailey is not kicking him.
Wyatt's first time in the exersaucer
The physical therapist recommended we put them in the exersaucer to get them off their head. I questioned her about the recommendation that preemies never be put in one but she said it was ok. Since they like it so well I will go with it. It was a big hit and there was lots of talking going on with them both.

VER/ERG

Yesterday we had Bailey's appointment for the VER/ERG. It was not a big deal for her. I was sweating buckets after fighting her during the test. I had to hold her up to the machine while she looked at flashing lights. Electrodes placed on her head measured her brain waves. Now we wait till the Dr at that office decides to read it then when our Dr gets the results and decides to call us, we get to find out the results. Again Maw was superwoman and got up at 4AM to come up here and go with us. I don't know how she gets so much done between work, Grandma Thompson, and us..... Thanks Maw!!! We will see you Friday for physical therapy but not so early this time.

Daddy struck again. Bailey has on Wyatt's clothes. I don't think he realizes that the other side of the closet has girl clothes.

The majority of the time I now find Bailey like this. Of course her fingers are in her mouth and she has glazed eyes.

5/23
I turn around and Wyatt decided to turn over for the first time. Of course as I am trying to get a picture he is turning back over to the other side. He of course has not done it again. He does not like his tummy. I wonder if it has to do with his surgery site.

I always have lots to say and no time to blog about it. Maybe when they are 20 I will have time.

5/10 Wyatt thinks his sister's bed is more comfortable than his. He also thinks looking at a mobile is boring. He loves to watch all of us.
5/11

5/11 It is so tough being being 7 months old. Some days Bailey just passes out from the stress.
5/13 Wyatt is so upset that Bailey decided to turn over that he grabbed her dress to hold her back. Who said a girl could do something before him. Bailey can turn over both front to back and back to front. Wyatt could do it but he is a little lazy. Why put forth the effort when you can cry and be held instead? Wyatt the physical therapist is going to be VERY disappointed if you don't do all the things you should be doing on the list.
5/13 Tyler had his 1st grade program Thursday night. It was short and sweet. I can't believe that he is finishing up 1st grade!

Maw and Granddaddy had the babies at home while we went to the program.
Grandma and Mr. Steve came up for Tyler's program. The kids enjoyed seeing them.
First time Grandma got to hold Bailey and Wyatt.

Prayers

Wyatt's surgery has been moved up to July 8th. His surgeon is leaving for the state of Washington earlier that expected. We really want him to do the surgery so we are willing to do it a month earlier.
I am still hoping to find someone that can get Bailey's MRI done before August.
Please continue to pray for the twins. Please put them on your Church prayer list. Some of the most comforting things throughout this has been the letters we have received from Churches stating they were all praying for the babies.

The Past Week

Yesterday I found that Bailey has started sucking her fingers and rubbing her hair, trying to get a piece of it. She looked just like Brianne at this age. She has tiny little feet like Brianne. I wanted to get her some sandals, but I don't think they make them small enough. The lady at the store where I was going to buy them said she had the smallest feet she had ever seen. Maybe next time... Don't worry Bailey because Brianne's feet grew fast, and now they are big for her age.

Oh this picture brings back sweet memories of Tyler and Brianne.
Tyler will attend a different school this next year. He had an opportunity to have a tour day there on Tuesday. It is a very hard decision to swap him, but with 4 kids and a price tag of 20K the old school will not be feasible in the future. Brianne will get to go to the same school for 4K. She was excited to go pick Tyler up so she could look at her new school.
What does bath time look like at our house? As you can see crazy!
We did a weight check on Wednesday:
Bailey: 11 pds
Wyatt: 12 pds, 6 oz

Meeting Sophie

We were so happy that Granddaddy and Bebe were able to bring Sophie by to meet us on their way to Birmingham. She probably thought we were a loud bunch. I don't think she liked MacMac very much.

Looks like Granddaddy and Bebe raided a day care.
