The End of Cowboy Time

At the end of the two weeks on learning all about cowboys, the kindergarten classes had a square dance and party. We had lots of treats for the two weeks. Mom had to make a banjo, and dad had to find a rope and tie a knot so Tyler could lasso during the dance.

The little girl in the cow print outfit was Tyler's dance partner. She is also the one that was trying to dress Tyler at the MOOseum.

Happy trails to everyone....

They had hot dogs at the party but all the kids were more interested in playing on the play ground. It was very nice of the school to furnish all of this.

Last but not least Brianne sitting with her class. She was not in school this day (she only goes 2 days a week), but she got her picture with them. They were able to come down and watch the dance.

A White Miracle

In our area you would call this a white miracle. We get snow about once every 10 years. So much for the global warming theory (not that I ever would buy into that).

The kids did not want to stay our long because they said it was too cold.

Patches tried to eat it all but figured out it was impossible so she went back into her kennel.

It is still snowing heavily at the moment. The ground is just too warm for it to stick. Yesterday it was warm enough for short sleeves.

The MOOseum

For two weeks Tyler's class studies all about cowboys and during this time they take a field trip to the MOOseum. All the children seemed to have a good time.

Tyler and Landon
Landon's mom teaches Brianne's mother's day out class.

This little girl was very attentive to Tyler. She seemed to always be around him and she helped him with his clothes in the dress up station. I need to keep my eye on her.

This week they will have even have a square dance for the parents to watch.
