We all visited Papa Moates

Unfortunately, Papa is in the nursing home. We went over to his house before going to see him, and Tyler asked where he was. He loves his Papa.

It has become very hard to get Brianne to sit still for a picture. She is up and running.

We continue to enjoy the new house

When we have a moment we try to enjoy the new things in the house. We got to take a bath in Mommy's big tub. The jets and bubbles were a big hit for the kids.

12/13/07, Christmas Party at School for the Parents

My handsome man!!!! The children had a party at the school for parents. They sang Christmas songs and gave us a gift.

Mrs Twiggs said that each child made their parents their own cookie and iced it and all. She said that they may have even gave it a lick. Well if you look closely I think Tyler even gave ours a bite! :)

Below are some videos of a couple of songs they sang for us.

Tyler Turns the Big 5!

Tyler turned 5 on 12/9, and we celebrated his birthday with a Spiderman themed birthday.

Granny Thompson always has to take the presents out of the bag and hand them to him. It is so cute. We are so blessed to have her at the party this year.

Jacob and Tyler opening the presents.

He has been so excited about getting his guitar. He wants to be a rock star.

Aunt Martha gave Brianne a necklace, purse and bracelet. It was all a big hit. She loves to carry the purse around on the crook of her arm. She is all girl.

Finally we get to enjoy some of the house.

We came back from TN on Thursday and that weekend we enjoyed a fire in daddy's outside fireplace. We grilled hot dogs and roasted daa daas (marsh mellows). It is good to be home. Brianne does not sleep in strange places so we could not get home fast enough.

Lee Graduates

We finished moving into the house on Sunday and left for Nashville on Tuesday for Lee to graduate. It was nice going back to all the places we loved about Nashville. We will definitely go back to visit off and on.

So after 28 LONG months we graduate.......

Now everyone say a prayer that Lee passes his boards so we can start getting a check after 30 long months!!!!

Too Busy to Post!!!!

I have been too busy to post due to the move and Lee graduating. I will try to catch you up in the next couple of days.
Nov. 19 and 20 Mom, the kids and I moved the little stuff in a UHaul to the new house.

Tyler helping us "move."

Brianne helping us not move!!! She loved playing in the UHaul.

November 24 we moved all the big stuff out of the old house with the help of Mom and dad again.

Brianne decided it was her turn to move. I can't express how much in the way she was. It is not fun moving with a 16 month old.

On November 25 Lee, his dad and brothers moved out all the stuff in the storage unit (lots of very heavy furniture). I was not there when they did this so no pictures. We are so thankful every one's help. We could not have done it without them!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

And the moving has begun!

So I went to an open house in the new neighborhood and found the perfect kitchen table/chairs and bar stools. I emailed several people and no one would tell me where the furniture was bought. I even went back the open house weeks later and looked under the chairs for tags and as you can see I also took pictures. Well this week I lucked up and found it. Yah! Now I just need the money to buy it.

Thought I would throw in a picture of Tyler last week going to his first lunch bunch. He gets to eat lunch at school and play an extra couple of hours. He really enjoyed this.

Indian Days

This week Tyler had a Pow Wow at school. They have been studying Indians. He is really interested in what animals they killed. In this picture he is shooting me with his arrows.

Tyler's Indian "artifacts"

All girl with her beads around her neck.

Granny Thompson gave her two dolls for Halloween. (she thinks we don't give them toys HA!) Brianne loves to care for her babies. She usually sits on the couch with daddy, and she gives one doll to daddy to see about also.

Brianne loves for her bubba to take her shoes off. She just giggles.

The sweetest picture I have ever taken of them. They are reading their books together.

A Few Pictures- Fall and Festivals

Finally a picture to show you how she likes to walk around "wearing" her shoes!

Picture of Tyler after his fall festival at school

This is a picture of Tyler and Brianne before we went to the festival at Saint James. Daddy won us 2000 M & Ms from Saint James. He had to guess how many were in the jar. Gee thanks dad!!!

Brianne in the blow up jumping castle... She really enjoyed this. Tyler was not even in there with her. She cried when she had to get out.

Hot or Cold!!! Which is it?

Hot............

Cold........... (doesn't she look like an old woman?!)

We can't decide what temperature it is going to be here. We are busy going to every fall festival we can get to. It is going to be such a let down for Tyler when Halloween is finally over.

We are still counting the days till we get the house. We are going to get the keys a little earlier than we originally planned. We will now get the keys on November 19. I will be so glad to get all my things out of boxes and storage.

Our Weekend

Why oh why has she decided to always pull out all my socks and throw them on the floor. Why can she not do this to daddy's socks.

I worked nights this weekend and I came home to these pictures on the camera?! Is this how daddy keeps them under control?

We went to ZooBoo this weekend. Lee and I were very disappointed. The zoo in Nashville does a much better job for Halloween. In this picture Tyler is trying to knock the pins down with the bowling ball.

Brianne had the best ride of all. Tyler got his first "tattoo" at one of the booths.

This is Brianne riding the tractor pull. She really enjoyed the ride.

We are ready for Halloween

Tyler was suppose to be spiderman for Halloween but he talked me into buying him a power ranger suit. He has hardly taken it off since I bought it.

Brianne is the plum fairy. She hates the head piece and I am sure we will have to nix that part. She loves the shoes and wears them as much as I will let her (on her hands).
