Now lets have some fun in the water since no one would let me swim in the pool. She enjoyed being cleaned off more than eating the cake.

Moving to Alabama


We had to go see Heidi one more time before we left town. Heidi is the one holding Brianne and Rachael is his other friend in the picture. He asked me today (7/28) when we were going to see Heidi.

This is Tyler on moving day. He was busy as could be. He had to play with all the tools. He also had to wear his gloves all day long. I am surprised his hands don't get hot.

This will probably be the last time I post till after the big move. Saturday we will be sitting in our house in Montgomery!!!! As Tyler says "only 5 more night naps" and we will be there. Enjoy the pictures.

Our Last Trip to Opryland Hotel, 7/13/07


This is inside the hotel in front of Rachel's Buffet. We went to Rachel's one last time as residents of TN. Tyler loved to eat there because of the "sweets."

This is another picture inside the hotel. If you have never seen this hotel, it is worth seeing at least one time. It is huge. We went sometimes just to walk around and see the sights. I don't think we have ever seen all of the hotel.

I will post some of the pictures we had taken today for Brianne's 1st birthday. I will wait till after her party to post the pictures in her party dress.

Brianne took 4 steps tonight without holding on to anything. She just laughed! She loved it and wanted to do it again. Her problem is she gets so excited she runs and falls.

July 8, 2007

This one is for you Maw. Tyler took me to Target today to buy him some “clubs.” He told me that he wanted some clubs so he and Maw can work in the garden. It took me going all over the store to figure out he wanted gloves. He got some gloves, hoe, rake, scoop, and broom for him and Maw to work outside. So Maw get ready Tyler is coming to play with you.


He has worn those gloves all day long. He only takes them off when I make him. He even wanted to sleep with them on.

For all of you that remember Tyler and his bow bow, Brianne has found her "bow bow." It is Patches the dog. She sleeps with it, and she just lights up when you ask her where Patches is. She also sucks her first two fingers. She always has that dirty little finger smell that we use to complain about with Tyler. She is twice as bad as Tyler. She rubs it all in her head. Now I don't complain about it. I know that it will be gone soon, and I will miss it.

Brianne's TN Birthday Bash

We had an early birthday celebration for Brianne so daddy could be there. We are going to have her big party in Alabama when we get back. It was a very simple little get together at a local park named Moss Wright Park. The kids were able to play on the playground while we cooked the hot dogs. Tyler had a really good time and was exhausted when we got home.

On the way to the party she busted one of her balloons. She liked bouncing them around.

This is her picture with the girls. I forgot to take a picture with her and all the little kids :(. There were 3 girls and 5 boys.

She loves to eat. She even liked the hotdogs we served. In order for her not to stuff everything in her mouth at once, you have to put one thing on the tray at a time.

She only tried a few bites. She does not seem to like sweets like brother.

By the end she had gotten cake in her eyes. After this it was time to clean up. Maybe now when she gets her cake in Alabama she will know what to do.
