Brianne is Sick

What do you get when you are sick? Well Brianne has a mommy that is not afraid to use some bribery if need be. She was so good when they took blood from her finger. She cried like we were killing her when they swabbed her throat. They wanted to check her for a kidney infection and we could not get a specimen. I tried bribery, threats, and begging. Nothing worked and by the end I was in tears. Brianne got a purse that came with a bunch of goodies.

She doesn't look sick here, but it is hard for a 2 year old to fake a fever. We left the Doctor's office with antibiotics. She either has a sinus or kidney infection.

November 18th

What did I do for my birthday?

Well I spent it with my 2 most favorite little people. Lee had to work so the kids and I went to Jim 'N Nicks. I bought my birthday present (an elliptical) many months ago. I told Lee absolutely no birthday cake. He went and bought me pettifours and said well it's not cake. For all of you that I have not seen lately I also gave myself another gift this year. I have lost 81 pounds.

November Days

Why did I take a picture of two bags of candy? Well what is Halloween without Great Granny Thompson's bag of candy she gives you. As always she must personally hand it to each one and then let them eat a piece so they are good and hyped up. It is the little things like this that make Granny Thompson special.

Tyler had his annual Indian Pow Wow at school. He loved every minute of it.

Daddy and Tyler went outside to shoot Daddy's bow and arrows. Of course Brianne had to go but mommy was having none of it. It was too cold outside for me. I bundled Brianne up and out the door she went. She loves Tyler's old boots.

What was daddy thinking letting Tyler shoot his bow and arrow this close to the window? Plastic or not .....

Halloween

Over the course of the Halloween week, we went to 3 festivals. We did not go door to door trick or treating. Tyler would only wear his costume one night. Brianne on the other hand would dress up in her costume everyday if you let her. All the pictures are jumbled up. Blogger has yet again changed their system.





This was my favorite festival of the week. It was at a Baptist Church that we have never visited. Everyone was super nice. It reminds me of my mother's Church but on a larger scale.

They also did trunk or treat at this festival, and Brianne was just amazed that all these people were giving her candy. She would tell them ta ta (thank you) and then would have to investigate the candy she received.

Tyler had the opportunity to ride ponies in TN several times because there was always someone selling pony rides at the shopping center near our house. This was Brianne's first time getting to ride the ponies, and Mrs Storian walked around with her so I could take pictures. The pictures I got of Tyler were blurry.

Bubba is the ultimate teacher. Brianne would watch him and imitate what he was doing,and of course she had to be in the middle of everything.

She starts off hitting it with the golf club and then she very politely walks it to the hole and drops it in.

Halloween Videos

Sorry but the videos are all about Brianne. She is at that age where she does so many cute things that just have to be put of video. The first is of her playing a game (cheating of course), and I just had to have her do it again so I could get it on tape. Second video is her dancing to the music. The third video is her directing the music. She goes to chapel at Church and now imitates the hand motions. She is so funny because she even puts the pause in it.

Tyler's kindergarten class was asked by the Junior League to sing at the Christmas bazaar. I did not get any good pictures. Most of them were blurry. I got several videos, but my arm tends to get tired and the videos will make you drunk. The first video is from that day. It is a bad video as far as my crazy video style, but when they sing the word peace in the song it is priceless. We all laughed. The other two videos are a preview to the show for mommy.

Decorating for Halloween

A couple of week ago we decorated for Halloween. It is so awesome to have a house to decorate. This time last year we were still renting. I am so thankful that we did not stay at the last place long. It was a very dark place for me. That house made me depressed for some reason.


Daddy needs some help in the spider web hanging. This is the window he did by himself.

We also bought some small skeletons to hand in the tiny tree in the front yard. The plan was to paint them with glow in the dark paint but it did not work so well. They did not glow at all.

Brianne says, "this is so scary I am in shock."

Beach Fun

The only video that my camera did not destroy. Brianne does not like water, and as you can tell Tyler would stay in it all the time. It was too cold to get in but that did not stop Tyler from trying to get wet.

Our Trip to Gulf Shores

We went to the beach the weekend of October 12th for the Shrimp Festival. We did not spend mush time at the festival because we were busy doing other things. Unfortunately, my camera erased ALL my pictures but one video. I was devastated. I had worked so hard to get some nice photos of the kids on the beach.

While we were down there we met Lee's family for dinner. Thank goodness that we all had a camera so I was able to get the following pictures from Lee's mom.

I did not get a picture of Tyler with Anna Kay, but he fell in love with her. He asked to take her home to replace Brianne. I am so sure (I hope) that he would never give up his sissy. If he thinks she is bad now can you imagine what it will be like as they get older.
