Sick Again, 4/29
I came home tonight after work to discover Brianne had a fever of 101.8. I have no idea why she is running a fever. Please hurry up summer!!! We are sick of winter with all its many illnesses.
I DID NOT....
OK so who could resist this sale...........
Tyler also got a treat that day. He has been looking and begging for a pair of croc shoes, and we finally found his size in camo no doubt at the Bass Pro Shop. It just about killed their daddy to have to go to Bass Pro Shop that night to look for them. LOL
The Ballgame After the Ballgame, 4/19
I swear the other team (as pictured) looked like little pigs. They had dirt all over them, and the Biscuits looked liked they could wear their uniform the next night. Well did I mention we lost?
Big Mo was a big hit with Brianne. Poor thing cried when he left the field.
After the game they had the fireworks spectacular. Thank goodness because that is the only thing that calmed Brianne down from crying about Big Mo.
We got home late from the game and as you can tell they were still ready to go. (Big Mo in Brianne's hand and the Biscuit in Tyler's)
The next day we went and had a picnic at the park. The entire weekend was just fun!! It is great that neither of us is in school anymore.

2nd Ballgame, April 19, 2008
This is about as close to Granny Thompson that Brianne will get.
Granny T. always has to give them money. She needs to keep her money so she can buy her medicine, but she does not listen. Tyler sure does love her. I noticed this visit that she seems to be weaker and much more unsteady on her feet.

Tyler as the Ring BOY
The dress rehearsal dinner was on the Bama Belle. It was a big hit with Tyler.
Left to Right: Melissa (cousin Curt's fiance), Curt, Tyler, Uncle Michael (Lee's brother), and Aunt Jessica
Morgan and Tyler
This was my favorite picture from this weekend. He was so funny sitting up there with the bride, Lindsay. They made him kiss her for one picture, and he did not know what he thought about that.
Can the tuxedo place never get an order right? The sleeves were 6 inches too long, and the jacket overall was too big. The pants were high waters. Oh well.....
Sissy was left behind at home in Millbrook. It was our first time away from her. Maw and Britney took care of her, and I am sure they spoiled her. We got her a surprise for us being gone. It was a stroller and baby, which she was so excited about. Grandma and Mr. Steve got her a kitchen tool set, and that is the measuring cup she is using to feed her baby.

Vacation- The Good Part
Our usual trip to the outlet malls and the horse (we always get a picture on the horse). I will have to find the old pictures to compare how big Tyler has grown.
Our "swim" at the chalet
Brianne was a serious driver. She is going to give us problems.
Tyler's favorite ride at the park, it goes up and down like a mini free fall.
Parents really amaze me. As I was waiting for Tyler to get off this ride there was a father telling his son that "you can either ride these baby rides or the other rides for your age." He looked to be Tyler's age, and there was nothing wrong with him riding the rides in this section. Why must we say things like this to our children and try to make them older than they are. Luckily he had a sensible mother that intervened and said to let him ride them, and he seemed to have a good time.
Our annual picture at the park. I usually try to get the kids by themselves, but we waited too late to get pictures. This was on our way home at 6AM so both kids were not in the mood.

How was our vacation?
This vacation was so eventful I will break it into two parts: bad/ugly and good. When we got to Gatlinburg we went to check in, and they told us that they would have to switch our chalet because ours had flooded. Oh NO!!! Bad sign for us. The new chalet was on ski mountain road. Anyone that knows the area is aware of the older accommodations and VERY steep roads. Well we get to the place and YIKES!!!! See pics below. We were spinning trying to get up the hill. The heat on the first floor was not working, and Brianne was shivering. Lee told her to stop that it was not that cold. Well I watched her and discovered that the shivering was really chills from a fever. Brianne was sick, and we were in panic mode. We called everywhere and could not find anyone open to see her. We did find a Dr that was opened on Sundays so we decided to take her in the next morning. We took her to see him and waited outside the door for 2 hours (along with 8 other patients), and he never opened the doors. We were forced to go to the ER which ended up being a pleasant surprise. It took us less than 2 hours to check in and walk out the door. She has pink eye and both ears are infected. Mommy’s throat is feeling like it is getting scratchy again. Two days later I am up in the middle of the night so congested that I can hardly breathe. Lee and Tyler thankfully escaped the illness. Knock on wood….
The slippery flooring and step up to the horror house. Lee even fell. We took pics and took them to the office.
Just some of the cracked, missing tiles
If you can't see them for all the flowers and blue, Lee, Tyler, and Brianne are sitting on the couch. LOL Poor sick Brianne
Need I say more....
Falling curtains
Even goes up the ceiling!!!
Oooohhhh we are home!!!! We got moved back to a the chalet we usually stay at. This one was not an option when we originally rented because it was booked on Saturday night. We ended up where we wanted to be.
