Well we are finally settling into our house in Alabama. After a few rough nights with the neighbors from the hood (along with two phone calls to the cops), I am finally able to sleep. I thought my neighbors in TN were bad, but they have nothing on the set we have now. Monday my neighbors forgot to put their trash out for the garbage men to pick up so they kindly swapped their garbage can out with my can. LOL Now I know we are back in Montgomery!!! I have started back to work a couple times a week. It is like going on vacation. It is much easier to work outside the home. I don’t think you can really appreciate a stay at home mom until you walk in their shoes. Anyway, we will just be glad when daddy comes home to stay. He came this weekend and visited. Like two crazies we went looking at houses and found a neighborhood we really like. It will be nice to own a house again.
So to the important part… the kids.
Brianne got her first pots and pans tonight.
I think brother liked playing with them as much as Brianne.
She had a good time feeding herself with the spoons.
Brianne is also mastering the art of walking. She can now walk from the family room to brother’s room without falling. At first she thought walking was so funny she would fall just from laughing. She now prefers to walk rather than crawl. She loves to play the “I’m gonna get you game.” She just laughs. Tonight I told her to come to me, and she would get just close enough that I could not get her and then she would run from me. She got so tickled.
Tyler is looking forward to school. He said he is going to eat lunch in the teacher’s office. I don’t think he knows that is a bad thing. I hope he does not talk the teacher to death. Be looking in the paper for the headlines, “Little boy talks teacher to death.” He will be going from 8:30-11:30. I hope he makes a lot of friends.
