Valentines Day, February 14, 2008

We had a great Valentines Day this year. We feel so blessed to have each other and to be living in our new house in Alabama. We both worked, but I was able to leave work long enough to attend Tyler's school party. Of course I forgot my camera. Tyler was excited about Valentines Day because he said you get presents for Valentines. I don't know where he gets these ideas. I had to work till 7PM so we waited till the next night to go out to dinner. Lee and the kids gave me a basket of lotions and soaps, and we gave daddy Starbucks.



Brianne got a Cabbage Patch baby, and Bubba got a Spiderman car.

Daddy just needs to hurry up and open her baby.

He waited so patiently for his turn for daddy to get his car out of the box. He really is a good boy.

Oh, did I forget to tell you the baby came with a baby bottle. Yay!!! She loves a baby bottle and guess what, she has already lost it.

Although I forgot to take the camera so I could get picture at the party, I took some pictures of what he brought home from the party. The paper with the hand print is the card he made for us for Valentines Day.

The inside of the card.... There is nothing sweeter than a hand made gift from your child. I never understood this till I had Tyler.

Brianne's Big Weekend 02/09/2008

While Bubba was out having his first fishing trip Brianne was hitting the jack pot back at Maw’s house. She has discovered mommy’s dolls. I don’t know how I feel about that. She is not very gentle with her things at this point, and mommy took very good care of her toys. She also loses parts to toys.


Her new thing is to kiss her babies. She is very much all girl. She loves necklaces, dolls, and purses. She loves for us to brush her hair (poor thing does not know she is bald). She loves changing her clothes.

Would you like to know how many times she has lost this baby bottle she is holding? I don't know how she instinctively knew to feed her babies with it but she does. She continues to amaze me with how fast she catches on to things.

This is a funny video of Lee getting a balloon off the ceiling. It was so funny watching Brianne trying to get her daddy to get the balloon. Tyler's First Fishing Trip

Lee, Granddaddy, and Tyler went fishing saturday. This was Tyler's first time fishing. They all had a good time.

Learning to cast

Tyler caught his first fish within minutes. If you look real close you can see the fish's head out of the water in this picture.

He caught a total of 4. He did not want to keep any. He said we could not eat them, and he wants to throw them back. We can on the other hand go to the grocery store and cook those!!!

It is CONSIGNMENT TIME!!!!

I love consignment sales. It is only two times a year so I savor the moments. LOL


I racked up at the first one I went to this week. Another one is starting this weekend!!!!

Of and did I mention I love finding deals on Ebay. I got 5 outfits from a lady on ebay that happens to live in Emerald Mountain (our old neighborhood). It is a small world. The two oufits above and below are from her.

Mardi Gras

February 2 Millbrook had its annual Mardi Gras parade. Tyler had a good time waving at people so they would throw him beads. One man even jumped off the float (about killed himself) to put a string around his neck. Tyler is a charmer. Brianne better learn from him. We had a great time. They even tossed out ice cream sandwiches at this parade!!!

OK, So we are still alive...

RSV did not kill us but the whining and crying about did mommy and daddy in!!! We are very glad that we are finally on the mend. So we have some pictures to share.....


This is what happens when bubba leaves his food unattended. She is a food thief. She eats her food then goes to Tyler's plates and when she is done with his food she sits between mommy and daddy and begs for their food. In this pictures she has his juice and his banana.

This time she has eaten his white powdered donut (if you can see the white powder around her mouth). She is still sick in this picture. Daddy went hunting with Ashley, and Tyler enjoyed trying on daddy's hunting gear.

What a combination: a red cowboy hat, striped pjs, and a sword. Oh and I certainly did not buy this sword for him. He went and spent the night with maw, and he came back with a black eye and this sword. He and Jacob each got one and were fighting. Needless to say this sword has been hidden up until this point. It has gone back into hiding again.
