Brianne's Birthday Party
My sweet girl was so very patient to wait till July 24 for her party. To make things easier we just all went to the bowling alley.

I think this is the prettiest cake we have gotten so far. She loved all the fairies it had on it.
The Rigby Men
Tyler picked out Brianne a birthday card and gave her a pink Bass Pro shop truck set.
The new way to bowl.

We were so glad everyone was able to come up at such short notice. We had a good time seeing all our family.

Update on Wyatt and Bailey
Wyatt is a very busy, personable little soul. He loves to smile at people but is very quick to look around to find his mommy and daddy. He really enjoys his big brother and sister. They are like circus people to him. He is everywhere. For the last few weeks he has rolled anywhere he wants to be. He can get his legs under him so I have no doubt that he will crawl soon. He can sit up, but you can't leave him because he gets so excited he topples over. Since the surgery we have had major feeding issues, and he has started seeing both a GI doctor and the occupational therapist. He is down to drinking less than 16 ounces of milk a day, and he does not eat solids at all. If we try to feed him solids he vomits. He has really bad oral aversions, and I think it was caused from the extended intubation. Please keep him in your prayers as we try to figure out what to do for him.
Bailey is a quiet, dainty little baby. She has the tiniest little mouth. She has always loved to snuggle. Holding her at night brings back memories from that first time I held her in the NICU. She continues to amaze us. She is still a few weeks behind Wyatt in everything they do. We have to watch him around her because he loves to do thing to make her cry. In the last day or two she has gotten better at sitting up. I hope that in a couple of weeks she will be able to sit up unassisted. She still loves to lay on her side and suck her fingers. We are trying to get her to roll to her tummy more so she can strengthen her back. Getting her to drink her milk has become easier but by far is not like a normal baby. She LOVES sweet potatoes and cereal and will eat a bowl full at a time.
Don't be fooled by the sweetness of the picture because...
Wyatt will roll across the room just to pull Bailey's hair. She just screams, and we have to intervene. He torments her!!

It is just amazing to see Bailey grab for toys. I think the doctor is amazed she can see and said he is very hopeful. I don't know if I posted before that we chose not to do the MRI. We did not want her to have yet another test if it is not absolutely necessary.
If you don't see these babies at least once a month you are missing a lot. I am so thankful that my dad has slowed down some so he can come up and see them about every two weeks. Bailey loves granddaddy's glasses, and Wyatt is scared of granddaddy's glasses and hat. The combination of the two makes him cry.

It's Bad Enough...
that I have very little time to blog, but all the pictures I was planning to blog were erased. Now I have to start over. I will hopefully have a new post soon. I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged.

Wyatt's Surgery
We are very glad Wyatt's surgery is over. Lee said he is not allowed another surgery until he is at least 30. Again we were very disappointed with Children's Hospital. We love our surgeon and the surgery staff was great, but when we got to the floor it was just bad. The lady that brought Wyatt up from surgery said they would be in to hook up his IV. Everything was in the room, and they only need the bag of fluids. 3+ hours later he was still not hooked up. His blood pressure was low and he was not peeing. The nurse ended up finally hooking him up, and she had to give him a bolus of fluid. She ended up giving him 2 boluses of fluid which ended up making him swell. He was a cute "big" baby, but it scared mommy because his lungs started sounding wet. That night before bed we called the nurse 2 times in one hour, and she never came to the room. We heard them call her to the front for a phone call, and Lee said she would go up to the front now because she would not want to miss her call. Sure enough there she was. She only had 3 patients. Very disappointing....
Wyatt getting some love from his brother before we leave for Birmingham.
I think he likes riding in the wagon. Poor fellow doesn't know what is about to happen.
Before all the fluid overload...

Guess Who Had a Birthday
I just had a take a picture of Tyler being a good big brother. Bailey was crying so he put her in his lap and read her a book. Poor Wyatt in the back ground is waiting his turn.
My baby turned 4 July 6. Oh how the time flies. She wanted to go to the Mexican restaurant so they would sing to her.
That fried ice cream was delicious.
She got her wish. They even let her wear the hat while they were singing.

RaRa went with us.
Brianne wants everyone to see her brace. Front...
Back....
Aunt Brenda and Elizabeth were able to come over and see Wyatt and Bailey the day before his surgery. I think Tyler and Brianne talked them to death. Tyler even managed to get in a few magic tricks while they were here. We hope they come again soon.

Guess What Got Broken at Our House
Why Brianne's clavicle of course! She will have to wear a brace for five weeks. Fun!!
Wyatt's surgery on Thursday went well. We are all now at home recovering. I think it may have been harder on mommy and daddy. We feel like walking zombies.

A VERY Good Day
Yesterday was a very good day for Bailey. She took 21 ounces of milk! She did not scream and fight us like she does every day. As I write this she completed today with another 21 ounces. Praise God!! I would say the stress level in the house has dropped 110% the last two days. The GI doctor almost doubled the prilosec she is getting in one day. She has a new med to start but the pharmacy has not gotten it in yet. We also changed the formula she get from powder to premixed liquid. It is very costly, but I think it is what has changed her attitude. She was only getting about 6 ounces of formula a day but it really must have hurt her tummy. If this does not work the GI doctor said we will need to be admitted to the hospital for a couple of test.
