Regardless of who you voted for....

Don't you think it is shear insanity the amount of money we are using to "bail out" everyone. Where is all the money coming from? Other countries that we will now have to pay back with interest. Why does the government not have to scale back spending when times are tough? I am just back from the local tea revolt. If you missed it go to their web site and keep up with what will happen next. http://taxdayteaparty.com/
They made some great points, and it was worth my time.

Tyler's Easter Party

The weekend before Easter we had our annual Easter party. It rained so the egg hunting happened in our garage.

We had hot dogs, chili, chip and dip, ice cream, and cake.

Lee, BeBe, and Mr Steve

(Great) Granny Thompson and my brother Mike

BeBe and Brianne

Tyler, Jacob, and Brianne
Brianne is more worried about the candy. We have to watch her because she will take the candy to another room and hide and eat it.

My friend Kristi, BeBe, Lee, Grandmama Patsy, Kristi's 2 children Carson and Cody

We were very sad because cousin Nic and Anna Kay did not get to come because they had a flat tire on the way up. We hope they can make it next year.

Tyler's First Game

Tyler is playing machine pitch baseball. Their team is called the grasshoppers, and the first game was April 4th. Tyler is really improving and seems to get better each time he plays.

He got the team ball because he played the best game for the day. He was very excited to get the ball.

Brianne said she wants her hair like mommy's. She does not understand why her hair can't be put up in the back. Hopefully one day she will grow some hair. We had to settle for a pony tail on the top of her head.

Long Lost Blogger

We have been on the road and busy for the last few weeks. I have sat down several times to blog only to find something else more important to do.
Walt Disney World March 15-20
We got to Orlando the night before our reservations in the park so we decided to go to downtown Disney and eat at the T-Rex. Not the smartest mommy moment for me. They had to even put us in a different section of the restaurant. As you can see in the picture below Brianne did like the coral on the wall and she liked the fish tanks. She had nightmares that night over the dinosaurs.

We watched Nemo at the Animal Kingdom, and Brianne was loving it until the sharks came out. They did look scary so I can't blame her. It was a good show and very colorful.

Why she was not scared of the monkey I don't know.
My pirate Tyler was such a good boy during the trip. He had a great time riding the rides.

Mexico at the World Showcase in Epcot

Tyler and Brianne got a special tour of Mickey's house because they were the first in line to see Mickey for the day. Daddy stood in line till they opened, and we rode some rides.
MGM studios

Sorry Duck but we left you some germs behind because shortly after this picture Brianne became sick with a stomach virus. Who do you think was the only other one to catch it? Me! I did pray that Lee would not get sick because someone had to drive home.
Brianne loved her Mac Mac aka Tigger

Ah, Mary Poppins
After this picture the Mad Hatter was bad and tried to get Tyler to chase and catch Alice in Wonderland so she could be put in a cage. It would have been bad if he had really gotten up and started chasing her.

The End of Cowboy Time

At the end of the two weeks on learning all about cowboys, the kindergarten classes had a square dance and party. We had lots of treats for the two weeks. Mom had to make a banjo, and dad had to find a rope and tie a knot so Tyler could lasso during the dance.

The little girl in the cow print outfit was Tyler's dance partner. She is also the one that was trying to dress Tyler at the MOOseum.

Happy trails to everyone....

They had hot dogs at the party but all the kids were more interested in playing on the play ground. It was very nice of the school to furnish all of this.

Last but not least Brianne sitting with her class. She was not in school this day (she only goes 2 days a week), but she got her picture with them. They were able to come down and watch the dance.

A White Miracle

In our area you would call this a white miracle. We get snow about once every 10 years. So much for the global warming theory (not that I ever would buy into that).

The kids did not want to stay our long because they said it was too cold.

Patches tried to eat it all but figured out it was impossible so she went back into her kennel.

It is still snowing heavily at the moment. The ground is just too warm for it to stick. Yesterday it was warm enough for short sleeves.

The MOOseum

For two weeks Tyler's class studies all about cowboys and during this time they take a field trip to the MOOseum. All the children seemed to have a good time.

Tyler and Landon
Landon's mom teaches Brianne's mother's day out class.

This little girl was very attentive to Tyler. She seemed to always be around him and she helped him with his clothes in the dress up station. I need to keep my eye on her.

This week they will have even have a square dance for the parents to watch.
