Mother's Day

What did I do for Mother's Day? Lee was on call and was at the hospital all day. The kids and I were alone all day. We were just lazy all day long. The big question is what did Lee get me? He did not get me anything and I even gave him a big hint. I went to HHGregg on Friday and found what I wanted. Tyler went with me, and we got a card from the salesman and I coached (LOL) Tyler to tell his daddy that I wanted a robot from HHGregg that cleans the floor. Well did he go get it? NO!!! Instead on Saturday he tells me he hopes that I know what I want for MD b/c he looked all over Prattville and could not find me anything. I told him DUH I sent Tyler to you with a card with what I wanted. Next time I will use a hammer. Maybe I did not give enough of a hint.





My favorite and most special gift of all, a card and cup from my baby boy.

Oh, I went Monday night to Costco and bought my iRobot. Lee met me there. I think he felt bad.

Happy Mother's Day

Last weekend while we were at Maw and Granddaddy's house for their anniversary, we went ahead and gave Maw her mother's day gift. We made her stepping stones. One had Brianne's name, date and foot prints (she hates the cement so the hands were a no go). Tyler's had his name, date, and hand prints.



Brianne acting like it was all her idea and that she was not scared of the cement. Sure she will touch them now.

This weekend Granddaddy and Bebe came for Tyler's game on Saturday. He really has improved on hitting the ball. We took this time to give Bebe her mother's day gift. She also got stepping stones. We had a very good visit with Bebe and granddaddy. Tyler told Bebe that he loved her and that he had always wanted a Bebe.

We have not gotten Grandma her present yet. I bet she will not be able to guess what she is getting. LOL I will post pictures of her getting her present when we see her this weekend.

The Turtle, April 27, 2008

I forgot to post about the turtle we found Patches trying to kill. In the first video Tyler discovers Patches biting and tossing the turtle around.

If you listen closely Tyler is telling the turtle in the last video that he will never forget him. He is so dramatic!!

Although the turtle was hurt, there was a happy ending. We took him to the woods, and we went back later and he had walked off. Tyler had just been studying turtles at school so he took a picture for all his classmates to see. Oh and did Tyler want to keep the turtle? What do you think? We had to educate him on snapping turtles and on why the turtle would be unhappy in a cage.

This and That

It is definitely time for a haircut. I am sure it will not be many years, and he will no longer let me do this to him. Isn't he the cutest little boy you ever did see!!!!

Today we went to Wal Mart and bought Brianne big girl panties. She loves them, and she keeps lifting up her dress to show them to us. Unfortunately, she has already wet 2 pair. LOL

Great Granny Thompson Turns 92

Erma Dean Shehane was born May 6, 1916 to ............ and ............. On ......., she married Gaston Thompson. They had 3 children Leslie Dean, Gene, and Jane Elizabeth (Maw). Ok Maw you fill in the blanks for me. I am going to print this blog into a book for Tyler and Brianne so it would be nice to have some information about their Great Granny.

Our First Poo Poo in the Potty!!!!! May 5, 2008

Last week Brianne pee pee in the potty for the first time and tonight I got her to poo poo in the potty. Go Brianne!!!! I had to give her daa daas (marshmallows) for using the potty.

40 Year Anniversary

Guess who has been married for 40 years? May 3, 1968



Jane and Larry!!!!!!!!! We went down Saturday and ate dinner with Maw, Granddaddy, Aunt Pam, Uncle Mike, and Jacob.

Tyler got to feed the baby calf a bottle.

We also got to visit Granny Thompson and Aunt Martha.

Having Granny smell her feet. She still will not get very close to her.

Poor Aunt Martha.... Tyler thinks he does not weigh much.
